The optional double bass part provides a bass line for the pieces in StrWinner of the Best Education Publication, Music Industries Association, 2008 this collection of fourteen fun and characterful ensembles for beginner strings (Joggers level) have flexible scoring, from two parts to a massed string ensemble, and are published as a teacher's pack/piano accompaniment and separate parts for the strings. This is optional double bass part providing a bass line for the pieces in String Time Joggers. Most pieces use the finger pattern 0-1-4. The second finger is also used in two pieces.
