Ailing Huang

Ailing Huang is a young soprano based in Sydney, Australia. She holds a Master of Music (M.Mus) degree (admitted without entrance examination) and a Bachelor of Music (B.Mus) degree from the China Conservatory of Music, with a major in vocals and opera performance. After graduation, she moved to Australia with her family and became a 2024 Young Artist with Pacific Opera in Sydney. Ailing’s operatic roles include Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Larina in Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Pamina in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Jinzi in The Savage Land, and Xue’er in The Red River Valley. She has also portrayed Chen Bailu in Sunrise and Grizabella, “The Glamour Cat,” in the musical Cats. Additionally, she performed in the Die Fledermaus ensemble, directed by Gale Edwards. Christian Haotian Qi

Christian Haotian Qi, one of Australia’s finest operatic tenor, holds a Master's in Opera Performance from the University of Sydney. Renowned for his exceptional talent, he has received prestigious awards, including the Top Prize at the Theodor Leschetizky International Music Competition in Vienna, Gold Award at the La Fenice International Opera Competition in Italy and many more.Beginning his operatic career as a formal member of the Moffatt Oxenbould Young Artist Program with Opera Australia, Christian has left his musical footprint across the globe. His performances have graced stages in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Singapore. Mylen holds a Bachelor degree in Music Education (major in Voice with Associate degree in Piano). She has 20+ years experience in private music teaching and had many productive years in music classroom teaching. In addition, she gather and supervised 1000 Children’s choir performing at the Big Mall on Christmas events as a Choral conductor and event coordinator, The choir she taught won several competitions in instrumental and choral. Mylen is passionate in discovering the talents and creativity of each students. She is experienced with variety innovative teaching approach for young kids such as; Orff, Waldorf and Kodaly. Mylen is very familiar with all mainstream international music exam in both piano and voice (AMEB, ABRSM and Trinity), She encourages students to do their best and excel in their fields of interest with dynamic, resourceful, patient and creative teaching style.
