Schiff's Canzonetta is a four-minute jazz-style solo for trumpet with strings, four horns and two percussionists, commissioned by the Seattle Symphony in honor of conductor Gerard Schwarz's farewell season. Piano reduction of the version for chamber orchestra accompaniment.
