WENDY LAM
Wendy began learning the violin at the age of seven and continued to enjoy music throughout her school years. She had been a member
of the Youth Orchestra and had begun teaching at the institution.
Wendy taught at Parson Music in Hong Kong and ran her own
studio from 2000 until 2011. She studied with Professor Michael Ma (Head of the String Department at the Academy of Performing Arts in Hong Kong) to develop her performing and teaching techniques.
Wendy had completed a research project on educating children at a
young age under the direction of Professor Ma while completing the ABRSM teaching course.
Wendy’s students consistently received high marks in their ABRSM Grade and Theory exams, as well as receiving prizes in the Hong Kong School Music Festival competition.
Wendy returned to Australia in 2011 and has performed as a guest violinist in the Canberra community orchestra and taught several students in her spare time.
Parsons Music welcomes Wendy to our teaching team and we invite you to book lessons with her today.
