Parsons Music Academy is excited to welcome Raz, a talented and passionate drummer and educator with over five years of teaching experience. Raz takes pride in helping his students achieve their drumming goals and is a valuable addition to our community of skilled teachers.

Currently completing his Bachelor of Music Performance at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA), Raz has consistently earned top marks, with consecutive performances graded as High Distinctions. His teaching style combines fun and challenge, encouraging students to explore their potential while mastering the fundamentals of drumming. Raz uses the renowned Trinity Drums method, which includes dynamic backing tracks that enhance timing and syncopation, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.

Raz creates a positive and supportive learning environment for students of all ages, fostering growth and confidence in their musical journey. Drawing from his years at Kumon, Raz knows how to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable. His expertise spans across Pop, Progressive Metal, Hip-Hop, Rock, and more recently, he’s delving into Jazz Fusion, Latin rhythms, and Bass grooves (D&B).
