We're thrilled to announce that Parsons Music School is gearing up to build our very own School Bands, join now to unleash your talent, build lifelong friendships, gain performance experience, and receive expert musical education and don't miss out, let's make beautiful music together!

 

Parsons String Ensemble & Quartet. 


This Orchestral Experience will enable you to develop your musical skills and you may also have the opportunity to perform at our yearly concerts.

In these group settings, you will develop Cooperation, Teamwork, Listening and Performance skills.

Sharing and working with others who love music can create lifelong friendships.

Candidates will be grouped into two representative levels and study corresponding skills e.g: 

       初级学习内容：(Beginners Level) 

  • 看指挥数拍子 (Learning how to follow the conductor and count the beat) 
  • 培养良好的节奏感 (Develop a good sense of rhythm) 
  • 节奏配合练习 (Rhythm Coordination Exercises) 
  • 音准练习 (Intonation) 
  • 乐队演奏技巧 (Ensemble Technique) 
  • 听声部训练 (Aural Exercises) 
  • 视奏练习 (Sight Reading Exercises)

       中级学习内容: (Intermediate Level) 

  • 不带力度变化练习 (Exercises without Dynamic Changes) 
  • 获得统一音色和音质的练习 (Exercises to achieve unified tune and quality)
  • 带有力度变化的练习 (Exercises including Dynamic Changes) 
  • 弓法节奏练习 (Bowing Rhythm Exercises) 
  • 实用作评谱例练习 (Practical example for musical scoring exercises) 

Practice routine will be 1 hour per week for Quartet Sun 17:00 /18:00

Fee: $30 per training session.

  • Singer
  • Bass Guitar
  • Guitarist 
  • Pianist
  • Drummer

   The enrollment period is scheduled to end on the 27th of OCT 2023, please contact our staff or let the teacher know your interest before the enrollment period.

   There will be an Audition Period between the 28th and 29th of OCT 2023 to select and group our little musicians. Please make a booking with our staff. 


 Practice routine will be 1 hour and 30 minutes weekly on Saturday Afternoon. 

 Fee: $30 per training session.
