Oliver Lee

Oliver is an experienced violin teacher, conductor, and performer who is passionate about helping students become confident, well-rounded musicians. He is currently Assistant Conductor at the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music, a violinist with the Coastal Strings and Sydney Concert Orchestra, and conductor of the Central Coast Philharmonic Choir, Central Coast Youth Choir, and Central Coast Youth Orchestra.
As a young musician, Oliver served as Concertmaster of the Sydney Youth Orchestra Philharmonic and participated in several programs with the Australian Youth Orchestra. He placed Equal First in Music Extension at the Sydney Conservatorium High School and received the CHAOS Award for Chamber Music. Oliver studied Violin Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music before continuing his Bachelor of Music with a focus on conducting at the University of New England.
Oliver's teaching philosophy focuses on developing the complete musician. His lessons combine strong technical foundations with musicianship skills such as ear training, music theory, singing, movement, and creativity. He is particularly passionate about healthy violin technique, helping students develop natural posture, balance, and freedom of movement to play comfortably and confidently.
