Lorenzo Benatiro
Lorenzo Benatiro has been playing guitar since the age of 11, inspired by the game Guitar Hero III, which sparked his passion for music. After just one lesson, Lorenzo discovered a deep love for guitar and has never looked back. Through years of dedicated practice, he has developed into an accomplished guitarist, mastering a wide range of styles, including Rock, Pop, Country, RnB, Fusion, House, and Jazz.
Lorenzo has had the privilege of learning from some of Australia’s finest musicians, including Will Vinson, Carl Dewhurst, Steve Brien, and Cameron Undy. These experiences have helped shape his unique style and broaden his musical expertise.
In addition to teaching, Lorenzo is an active performer, gigging with notable musicians and groups like Yasmina Sadiki, Manfredo Lament, James Ryan’s Sonic Boom Big Band, Greg Carger, and Heartbreaker - The Pat Benatar Tribute Show. His versatility as a guitarist allows him to collaborate across a variety of genres and settings, bringing a wealth of real-world experience to his students.
Now, as a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music (Performance) in Jazz, Parsons Music Academy is excited to welcome Lorenzo to our team. His passion for both playing and teaching makes him a fantastic addition to our staff.
Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, we invite you to learn from Lorenzo and take your guitar skills to the next level!
