Laurence has over a hundred recordings of pop songs and music for

TV drama series, songs and piano pieces on his Youtube Channel called  Li Tim Yau. He also promotes piano sheet music for special Korean pop songs, and has created a platform to connect people to these songs. 

Laurence Li graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University, where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Music Studies. He has played for more than 20 years,

including studying piano with Raymond Young Chap Lai, who is a famous Pianist in Hong Kong. Laurence has obtained; Distinction in Grade 8 piano in ABRSM, Completed Grade 8 music theory and has also obtained a Diploma of Piano Performance of ATCL level in Trinity College.

Laurence has taught young children and adults, beginners and intermediate students.  

He has gained experience and special skills when dealing with individual differences and interests and he adapts his teaching style to meet the needs of his students. He also includes rhythm development, eye hand coordination and special focus on highlighting sight reading skills. Laurence is well equipped to assist you to  prepare for  piano examinations in AMEB, ABRSM and Trinity College Music School or to just gain the correct knowledge and skill to play well and enjoy the many benefits of Piano tuition.
