Keria Garland is a passionate Woodwind teacher who has played Flute and Saxophone for thirteen years. She has taught at several Public Schools in Hornsby, West Pymble, Carlingford, and Mt Colah.

Keria has a goal-orientated focused approach, specifically to develop and improve one’s musical ability. Many of her beginner flute players have become competent performers. She focuses on developing good tone through useful exercises and specific direction to bring color and emotion improving student Technique, Dynamics, and Articulation.

Her Saxophone lessons meet the student interest however she does specialise in Jazz Tunes and helps students with Jazz Improvisation and Theory. Kiera has a calm, friendly warm approach. She makes lessons a fun, stress-free rewarding experience.

Keira has performed in many contexts on Flute, Saxophone, and Guitar, both as a part of bands and as a solo act. She has also been proud to be a part of musical recordings for local bands on flute and saxophone.
