Fleur Locke-Brook

Fleur Locke-Brook – Flute Instructor

Fleur Locke-Brook is an enthusiastic and dedicated musician currently completing a Bachelor of Music (Flute Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Originally from New Zealand, she has developed a strong musical background through extensive orchestral, chamber, and solo performance experience.

Fleur has performed with ensembles including the New Zealand Secondary Schools’ Symphony Orchestra and the Wellington Youth Orchestra, and holds an ATCL Diploma in Flute from Trinity College London. In addition to flute, she is also an accomplished pianist and singer, with experience as an accompanist and chamber musician, performing in competitions, masterclasses, and recitals.

As a teacher, Fleur is passionate about helping students grow into confident and well-rounded musicians while developing a genuine love for music. Her lessons focus on strong fundamentals such as posture, breathing, and tone production, while also building important musicianship skills including sight-reading, aural training, and music theory.

Friendly, patient, and highly supportive, Fleur tailors each lesson to the individual needs of her students. She strives to create a positive and inspiring learning environment where students feel encouraged, motivated, and proud of their musical progress.
