Ethan – Violin Instructor
Ethan is a passionate and dedicated violin teacher who loves helping students build confidence, creativity, and enjoyment through music. Beginning violin at the age of five and piano at seven, Ethan has developed extensive experience as a soloist, orchestral leader, and chamber musician, bringing both strong technical knowledge and an approachable teaching style to every lesson.
A graduate of The King's School, Ethan held leading roles in many of the school’s premier ensembles, serving as Concertmaster of the Chamber Strings and Co-Concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra. He was also first violinist of the school’s String Quartet and Piano Trio, touring Europe in 2024 and performing across Vienna, Salzburg, Prague, and Budapest.
Ethan achieved his LMusA with Distinction in Violin Performance (2025) and was awarded The King’s School Classical Musician of the Year, receiving HSC Encore nominations for both Performance and Composition.
As a teacher, Ethan creates lessons that are supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style.
