Paco Kam

Paco is a virtuoso on the clarinet. He began playing at just 5 years old, leading him to pursue a major in Clarinet Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Paco has achieved principal positions in the Hong Kong Youth Orchestra, Asian Chamber Orchestra, and Victoria Philharmonic Orchestra. His excellence has been recognized through a 1st-runner up at the Hong Kong Youth Barclampory Music Festival and a silver prize at the Greater Bay Area Young Artists Music Week.
Paco also plays a pivotal role in the Sydney Conservatorium's clarinet choir and Wind Symphony Orchestra as 2nd clarinet and is a valued member of the Hong Kong Young Musicians Wind Orchestra and Quartet Vocalise. 
Since 2017, Paco has been passionately involved in music education, teaching at Hornsby Public School, Eastwood Heights Public School, Lindfield East Public School, Maestro Art School of Music, Parsons Music, and Parkland Music School. He has taught over 40 students, ranging in age from 5 to 60, with a teaching approach that blends traditional and modern methodologies. Paco emphasizes technique, musicality, and personal expression, enriching his lessons with music theory, history, and performance practice. 
Paco's tailored teaching style, combined with his ability to fluently communicate in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, allows him to effectively connect with and inspire a diverse student base, fostering a dynamic and supportive learning atmosphere for students of all ages and backgrounds to explore their musical talents.
